Tobias is an award-winning workshop leader. He has led and devised workshops for many institutions and companies, including: Scaffold Shakespeare Company, Specifiq, The Actors' Centre and The National Theatre of Northern Greece. Specialising in Shakespeare, he is used to guiding actors and students through an active approach to text, whatever level of experience.

In his work with Scaffold Shakespeare Company, he co-devised and delivered a three-year workshop and masterclass series looking at the complete plays of Shakespeare - “Play out the Play”. This workshop series was awarded an Owl Schreame Award for Innovation in Classical Theatre.
